This in turn gives you a unique perspective on developing your skills and how to improve your riding when your out on the trails. \nThis Group Course will enable you to access Firecrest MTB Skills Training at a significantly reduced cost. It is a chance to join a training group aimed at enabling you to achieve your skills goals. \nThis course is ideal for riders new to Firecrest MTB skills courses and riders that have previously had MTB skills training with Firecrest MTB. DESCRIPTION:This programme is aimed at children who can ride a bike without stabilisers and to take the riders from a beginner to be able to take on the skills area in the bike park independently. This is a 4 day course\, 2hrs each day. \nBy the end of the session riders will be able to \n\nmove the body position around to suit the terrain and still maintain control\nuse both brakes with confidence and effectively on the trail surface\ntake on off road corners be able to assume a balanced and ready position\ntake on the trails and maintain control\nto weight and unweight the bike in a pumping action\nto maintain speed through a section without peddling\ncontrol the lift of the front wheel and back wheel independently using body weight to make this happen.\n\nThis session is during the Easter Holidays so please ensure you can attend each day. DESCRIPTION:What is Battle at the Bike Park? \nBattle at the Bike Park is a 3 hour XC mountain bike race that will take place at Northampton Bike Park.\nThis event is a collaboration between Outcast Racing\, Northampton Bike Park and the FNSS . \n\nThe Course\nThe course will utilise many of the bike park’s features including berms\, rollers and tabletops\, plus a woodland section featuring A and B line options.
