DESCRIPTION:This programme is aimed at children who can ride a bike without stabilisers and to take the riders from a beginner to be able to take on the skills area in the bike park independently. DESCRIPTION:What is Battle at the Bike Park? \nBattle at the Bike Park is a 3 hour XC mountain bike race that will take place at Northampton Bike Park.\nThis event is a collaboration between Outcast Racing\, Northampton Bike Park and the FNSS . \n\nThe Course\nThe course will utilise many of the bike park’s features including berms\, rollers and tabletops\, plus a woodland section featuring A and B line options. The park’s skills area will also be included in the course and is where the start/finish and pits are located. DESCRIPTION:Calling all our talented young riders \nWe are running a 3 hour course to help young riders between ages 10 and 14 develop to the next level. \nThe aim would be to identify young riders who could be supported and develop their skills to be suitable for the Mountain Bike Gravity British Cycling Development Talent Pathway. \nThe course will be led by coach Ian Warby who has taught thousands of riders of all ages and abilities from beginners through to World Cup Riders\, sharing his insights\, knowledge\, passion and enthusiasm for Mountain Biking. \nOne thing is for sure the rider will come away riding faster and with more confidence. \nThis is not suitable for beginners. \nFull face helmets are recommended but not compulsory\, a helmet must be worn.
