DESCRIPTION:We are hosting a Go-Ride open forum at Delapre Abbey Coach House on 4th February from 11am. \nA Go-Ride club is a biking club for children up to 16yrs old. Similar to a football club we will need volunteers to help run the club and to help on the actual days\, ranging from Club Secretary\, Child Welfare Officer to marshalls for when we put on races and events. \nThis is an opportunity for volunteers to come and ask questions about the Go-Ride club\, getting people involved\, have a discussion\, meet the current team and coaches etc. \nNo need to book on\, just turn up. If you cant attend but are still interested please either send us a PM on here or email your interest to info@northamptonbikepark.org and we will get back to you.

DESCRIPTION:!!!SOLD OUT!!! \nThis programme is aimed at children who can ride a bike without stabilisers and to take the riders from a beginner to be able to take on the skills area in the bike park independently. This is a 4 day course\, 2hrs each day. \nBy the end of the session riders will be able to \n\nmove the body position around to suit the terrain and still maintain control\nuse both brakes with confidence and effectively on the trail surface\ntake on off road corners be able to assume a balanced and ready position\ntake on the trails and maintain control\nto weight and unweight the bike in a pumping action\nto maintain speed through a section without peddling\ncontrol the lift of the front wheel and back wheel independently using body weight to make this happen.\n\nThis session is during the Half Term Holidays so please ensure you can attend each day. SOLD OUT!! \nCalling all our talented young riders \nWe are running a 3 hour course to help young riders between ages 11 and 16 develop to the next level. \nThe aim would be to identify young riders who could be supported and develop their skills to be suitable for the Mountain Bike Gravity British Cycling Development Talent Pathway. \nThe course will be led by coach Ian Warby who has taught thousands of riders of all ages and abilities from beginners through to World Cup Riders\, sharing his insights\, knowledge\, passion and enthusiasm for Mountain Biking. \nOne thing is for sure the rider will come away riding faster and with more confidence. \nThis is not suitable for beginners. \nFull face helmets are recommended but not compulsory\, a helmet must be worn. DESCRIPTION:This is a 2 day (Weds + Thurs) 2 hrs per day course for kids aged 5-11 yrs old. Ideally they would of already completed the Basics course with Matthew at some point in the past year. \nThis course is to take their riding to the next level\, working on from what was learned Matthew will help them gain the confidence and skills to tackle the tougher trails of the park\, helping them to choose the right lines\, control their braking\, manage their body positions etc. \nThe sessions will be Wednesday and Thursday 1pm to 3pm\, this session is in the school half term holidays so please ensure that you are able to attend both sessions. \nParticipants will need a safe and reliable bike that is up to the task\, a helmet is compulsory and protective elbow and knee pads are advised as well as gloves. \nClick on the link to book \nKids 5-11 yrs Progression Session MA13 – Northamptonshire Sport \nCAR PARKING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE
